Design and productive cycle.

The design and manufacture of machines and systems for the heavy clay industry is a process that Meccanica 2P carries out completely in-house. The production process takes place using the most advanced management techniques, designed to optimise the timing of the project and ensure the quickest delivery. Using the principles of co-design, Meccanica 2P involves the client in the shared planning process whose final result will be the most suitable for the customer's requirements.

For Meccanica 2P the life cycle of production machinery for roof tiles, bricks and clay tiles begins with the design concept and ends with the disposal operations of old systems. To effectively monitor the quality and accuracy of the services offered, the entire life cycle of a product has been divided into different stages, described here in detail.

  • 1. CO-DESIGN

With a focus on exquisitely crafted details, Meccanica 2P accompanies the client throughout all the stages of the project. Starting from an initial framework that comes from the analysis of the specifications, preliminary sketches and intense exchanges of ideas, various scenarios are explored together to define the crucial points of the machines and systems to be built. At this stage, the constant interaction helps to quickly and accurately identify the operating parameters of the commission and to therefore obtain the best solution for the needs of the customer.

After a series of technical meetings with customers and suppliers where the feasibility of the preliminary draft is analysed, a logical and functional project plan is obtained where all the basic components and their characteristics are listed.

This document provides the guidelines for all the project stakeholders, from mechanical to electrical designers to the assemblers.
  • 3. DESIGN

The production machines and the automated systems for bricks and clay tiles manufactured by Meccanica 2P are highly personalised solutions for the needs of a global market and they therefore demand a complex and diverse design.
The team of Meccanica 2P's technical office works with the aid of the most modern techniques of computer aided design, such as 3D CAD and CAM tools in order to bring the project to the pre-production stage.

Whether it is for the machines or for the systems for the production and automation of the heavy clay industry, the entire production process is done in-house.

From construction to assembly, Meccanica 2P is able to control all stages of the process, resulting in the highest levels of quality and continuity of its products.

Working with a global market also means being flexible in the management of requests for a wide variety of performances and machining sizes specific to each market. In light of this, electronics plays an increasingly more important role. The beating heart of the systems is the electrical panel, thanks to the latest technology, and it ensures full control of the machinery thus ensuring excellent results.

Intuitive and simple management control systems and human-machine interfaces are very popular elements of Meccanica 2P's systems. The objective is to enable any operator to learn how to best use the machines in a simple and fast way. From the panel, in fact, with a few touches, you can control all the parameters necessary for the proper functioning of the supply.
  • 7. TESTING

The quality control carried out by Meccanica 2P involves two distinct stages:

    1. A dry run test takes place directly in the factory during which the mechanical technicians at Meccanica 2P subject the machines to accurate tests which significantly reduces the commissioning time at the customer's premises.
    2. A second test is done directly on site: from the assembly of the machines to the first powering on to the final testing itself, thus concluding the supply.

The services provided by Meccanica 2P are completed with a comprehensive after-sales service which accompanies the machines throughout their life cycle, including their disposal.

The maintenance of the machines is made even more effective by remote service systems that gives customers significant savings in time and money.
